As a kid, which you still might be, has that thought ever rose in your head ‘why do people have to work? Why did there have to be money?’. To some people, there might be a simple answer to this intricate question. But to me, I still don’t get it.

People might say I’m just not smart enough or sometimes even ponder on the

answers themselves.

But over time thinking about it, took me to a conclusion. If there was really no money, people wouldn’t possibly work for free, and if about even 1 million of them tried to work for free, they wouldn’t be able to reach the standards of 7,530,104,000 people. Which would later end up causing war and conflict and food would be extremely scarce. This would not happen if people had a kind enough heart to share what they had. But even when we have money we still don’t do that.

But do you realize even when we have jobs and money, we still get in conflict and war with other countries or even family, sometimes over money or sometimes over other pointless subjects? The Chinese were the first to start the concept of money as some people (or historians) say.

To me, the literal concept of money is pointless. It definitely has its pros and cons. In my opinion, times when trading took place, there was much less conflict than today. And it was better. People didn’t really know how much something was worth.

But what do you think? Is money a positive or a negative to the world? Would you help your community if there was no money? What would be your take on the concept of money? Write your answer in the comments. Thanks for reading!!
