One Fact that I can tell you about me is that I cannot or am not indolent {(meaning idle)meaning not doing anything}. My mom and I had this small intuition to start a small home business; We'd talk about it for hours randomly scouring Pinterest for inspiration. And I did want to start a business too. Every day after our talks we would end our conversation by saying 'we'll do it one day' and that's not a lie. But what did I want a business for?
Two years ago I stumbled upon the most awesome 7.5oz thing known to man(me) 'THE BATH BOMB'. At first, I didn't vividly know what a bath bomb was. I'd watch videos on end about them. But still, I didn't know what citric acid was either.
Approximately a year later, I got interested in it and wanted to make my own. My mom told me citric acid was very easy to find, so I ordered packets on packets of citric acid from my local grocery store. I wanted to learn how to make my own bath bombs. But it was a complete fail. Each time I'd make one, I would add too many wet ingredients to it, and it would start to fizzing right in the bowl.
I later found out about soap. I talked to my mom about it. It turns out soap base was not that cheap. But I still managed to purchase some and handmade my own little bubbly creations with it. When I went for summer Vacation this year, I got lots(and I mean lots) of supplies.
Let us talk about a 2nd story. I was browsing the internet, and I learnt about scrubs(Thank You Internet)! I made one, and it turned out great! I let one of my sisters' friends try it out, and she loved it so much...she bought it!
By morphing these two incidents together, I was able to start my own business known as Heartland Soaps. I sell fresh handmade soaps, and scrubs in U.A.E. go check out my website
